Part-Time Mental Health Therapist

Family Service of Racine is seeking a part-time, Psychotherapist to provide client centered, best-practice and evidence-based behavioral health and wellness services.

The Psychotherapist will provide individual, couple and family psychotherapy services including intake, assessment, treatment planning, therapy, discharge planning and follow-up care. The Psychotherapist will also participate in the delivery of other behavioral health and wellness services that are guided by educational, psycho-educational, and psychotherapeutic perspectives.

Competitive candidates will have an accredited Masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy. Candidates must be licensed through the State of Wisconsin as a LCSW. Prior experience providing mental health services is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a solid understanding of computers and database systems, including use of an electronic health record are also required. Candidates are encouraged to emphasize areas of expertise and specialty, including aging, trauma and veterans issues.

A valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurable driving record are necessary. Certification as a substance abuse counselor is a plus.
