Family Service of Racine (FSR) counseling and psychotherapy clinic offers individual, couples, and family therapy to a widely varying clientele. The clinic is State certified and each psychotherapist is professionally licensed. We accept private insurance, Title XIX, Badger Care as well as offering uninsured persons therapy services based on their ability to pay.

Thomas K. Galten, MSW, PhD, SAC is the program’s clinical supervisor, a practicing psychotherapist, and a licensed substance abuse counselor. He sees individuals, couples and families for strength-based, empowerment-oriented psychotherapy. In addition to his clinical degrees, Dr. Galten, holds advanced degrees in pastoral counseling and Jungian therapy and has done advanced training in employee assistance, hypnotherapy, solution based brief therapy and EDMR.
Linda Angel, MSW is a graduate of Carthage College and the University of Wisconsin– Milwaukee. She has counseled at FSR for fifteen years. She works with individuals, families and couples addressing concerns with depression, anxiety, school behavior, abuse issues and divorce/separation matters as well as grief issues. Linda also works with caretakers and has in-depth experience with geriatric concerns. Linda has advanced training in the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Model.
Melissa Bonnin, MS TLPC is a University of Wisconsin– Madison graduate with a Masters in counseling psychology. She currently holds a professional counselor training license and provides counseling under the supervision of Linda Angel. Melissa has over ten years experience working in helping professions. She currently runs our New Age of Aging program for seniors 60 and older, plus works as a counselor for UW-Madison student support services and in the adult mental health unit at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-St. Luke’s.
Myrna Muilenburg-Kryger, MSW, LCSW has been a psychotherapist at FSR for over 19 years. Using a solution-focused systems perspective she works with families, individuals and couples dealing with issues such as communication, depression, stress management, parent-child conflict and abuse.
Jolanta Smith, MS, LPC Provides mental health treatment to women and children residing at HALO, as well as seeing individuals, couples and families at FSR. She has facilitated anger management groups for youth, a women’s support group and worked with the veteran’s at Vet’s Place. Jolanta is a graduate of University of Wisconsin– Parkside and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Phil Williamson, MS is a graduate of University of Wisconsin– Whitewater and has been working with families, individuals and couples for over 35 years. Phil facilitates groups and provides trainings on various topics such as anger management, stress reduction, divorce adjustment, team-building and adventure– based counseling. He also provides mental health counseling to the homeless and veterans. In addition, Phil works with adolescents and children with home/school behavior difficulties.
