Liz Hanson Will, LCSW
Center and Clinical Director
I grew up here in Racine and proudly attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. After moving out of state for a time, I returned to Wisconsin in 2000 and began working with children and families in treatment foster care. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin and, in addition to eight years in the foster care system, have worked as a school counselor and in private practice. I am thrilled to work with children, teens, and adults to help alleviate stress and roadblocks in their lives. Anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and helplessness are powerful experiences which can leave otherwise very capable people feeling powerless in their own lives. Through a solution focused and action-oriented framework, I blend empathy, honesty, and humor to assist people in reaching their maximum potential. Therapy is a partnership and we start where you need to start and move at the speed that works for you. My office is a place where it’s safe to be honest and vulnerable without fear of judgment. I will share thoughts, observations, and strategies but you are in the driver’s seat. I will support and encourage you, but you will make the decisions that move your life forward. This approach empowers clients and ensures that you get all the credit for the hard work done in therapy.
